Biography

Mr. Ray Allen is a Founder and served as the Chief Executive Officer & President at CII Technologies. He founded Cii Technology Solutions (formerly known as Cii Associates) in 1981. Previously, he served as the Director of Long Range Systems Planning for BCBSNC where he implemented the first nationally automated claims payment system for the Blue Plans. In addition, he coordinated the implementation of projects such as Medicare Part 65 between BCBSNC and hospitals. The recipient of numerous awards, he was chosen as CED's "Arrived Entrepreneur" and designated "Top Gun" by Business Leader magazine. Cii Associates, under his direction, was an "Inc 500" designee. He has been actively involved in numerous professional and charitable community projects. He donated time as a speaker and participant at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and CED's Fasttrac negotiating seminar. He served as a board member for Touch Scientific, Canopy Systems, Inc., Iadvantage Software, Inc., NCEITA, and is a former local advisory board member for The Bank of America. As Cii's leader and patriarch, he has led the company to success for many years.
