Biography

Mr. Scott Garber is the Founder and serves as Partner at The Legacy Capital Group. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer at Mastermind Escape Games. Scott has a successful history of founding and investing in innovative companies that have built remarkable shareholder value. With experience managing teams over 200 in size, Scott has developed and implemented strategies to create workplaces that are effective, profitable and inspiring. He has earned a variety of awards for his work including being named as one of Georgia's Best Places to Work, 2-time Fastest Growing Company Inc. 5000 winner, and Atlanta Business Chronicle's Pacesetter award for being the fastest growing private company in Georgia. Mr. Garber most recently Co-Founded GoldMax in 2008, which subsequently became the largest retail-based buyer of consumer precious metals in the United States with 300 locations and as much as $400 million in revenue. Mr. Garber served as Co-CEO and led the Company's finance and real estate strategies corporate-wide. Prior to Co-Founding GoldMax, Mr. Garber managed Garber Real Estate Investments, which sourced and evaluated offers on more than $150 million of real estate properties from 2007 to 2008. From 2002 to 2006, while attending college, Mr. Garber Co-Founded Sugarloaf Collectibles, a leading soft toy company, and grew the company to more than $5 million in revenue with 20 employees. At Sugarloaf, Mr. Garber acquired and integrated five other toy companies before ultimately selling the company in 2006. Mr. Garber also makes early-stage investments in a broad spectrum of private companies and serves on numerous advisory boards. Mr. Garber has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University and was accepted into and matriculated at the Master of Business Administration program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business before leaving to help start GoldMax.
