Jens Neelsen General Information
Biography
Mr. Jens Neelsen served as Senior Managing Director at Christopher Weil & Company. Jens joined CWC Asset Advisors, Inc. as a Senior Managing Director in September 2008 to co-manage the operations of CWC Regional Housing Fund, LP. He has been associated with Chris Weil and affiliates since 1975. From 1975 until its sale in 2006, he was the Managing Member of Essex Ventures, LLC, owner/operator of the Essex House and Convention Center, a 230-room full-service hotel/convention center/health and racquet club in Lancaster, California. Through his hotel and property management company, Nina, Ltd., Jens also served as the facility property manager. During his real estate and management career, Jens has collaborated with Chris in a number of other ventures, including the development and sale, from 1979 to 1984, of 107 single-family homes in Lancaster, California and from 1974 to 1978 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Paul-Weil Management Corporation, property manager of 12 hotel/motel properties throughout the United States. From 2006 to 2009, Jens served as a member of the Board of Directors of Graves World Hospitality, a major hotel management company. From 2005 to 2008, he served as a member of the Supervisory Board of WORLD HOTELS AG, a major global reservation, sales, and marketing representation company. And in 2014, CWC Casa del Zorro, LLC acquired Borrego Springs' Casa del Zorro Resort and Spa and Mr. Neelsen began overseeing operations.
