Biography

Mr. Robert Gaan serves as Chief Investor Relations Officer, Lead Advisor - Real Estate Specialist & Member of the Advisory Team at Christopher Weil & Company. He began his career in 1984 as a financial analyst with Angeles Corporation, a real estate investment syndicator. From 1988 through 1999, he was an investor services manager for Public Storage, Inc. He became associated with Christopher Weil & Company, Inc. in 1994, undertaking a variety of investment advisory and investment banking assignments, and currently serves as one of its four Investor-Manager-Advisors. His background in financial planning and investments serves to address high-net-worth customers' needs in areas of retirement and estate planning, college funding, taxation, and insurance. Rob is a FINRA-registered principal and is a California Life Agent. He served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory for 10 years, including three years as Board Chair. He continues to volunteer for SDYS as a non-board member, serving on the Advisory Committee as well as the Finance and Audit Committee. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1984. He holds a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California, Berkeley Extension TM practitioner.
