Biography

Mr. Thomas Paluck is the Founder, Owner and serves as President & Senior Portfolio Manager at TSP Capital Management Group. Mr. Paluck began his financial career in 1963 in the Research Department at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith. From there he spent 5 years at FI DuPont before joining Fahnestock & Co., Inc., Summit, NJ in 1969. At Fahnestock & Co., Inc. Tom played many roles including becoming a General Partner effective January 1, 1980. He was also a member of the Fahnestock Asset Management team and later with the successor firm, Oppenheimer & Co., helped to create the Oppenheimer Trust Co., serving as its Chief Investment Officer. In 2004 he left Fahnestock Asset Management at Oppenheimer & Co. to form TSP Capital Management Group. He has served on the Board of a public telecommunications company and is currently active on the Boards of several non-profit charitable institutions. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BS, majoring in Mathematics. He received an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a major in Economics and Finance.
