Biography
Dr. James Hutchison is a Co-Founder and CSO at Defunkify. He is a Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Materials Science Institute at the University of Oregon. He is a world-renowned leader in nanomaterials synthesis and the development of Green Chemistry. His research focuses on organic and organometallic chemistry; electrochemistry; and nanomaterials. He is the Director of the ONAMI Safer Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing Initiative. He has been on the faculty of the University of Oregon since 1994.
