Biography

Mr. Gus Hunt serves as Board Member & Advisor at Absio. Mr. Hunt is also President and CEO of Hunt Technology, LLC, a private consulting practice focused on strategic IT planning, cyber and data-centric security, big data analytics, and cloud computing. Gus serves as Managing Director and Cyber Security Lead for Accenture Federal Services (AFS). Prior to coming to Accenture, Gus was Chief Architect and head of Strategic External Partnerships for Bridgewater Associates, one of the largest hedge fund managers in the world. In that role he was responsible for developing Bridgewater's information technology strategy and executive relationships with the technology community enabling Bridgewater to keep abreast of technology advancements. Previously, Gus served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was responsible for the information technology strategic direction and future technology investment plan. Gus began his career in 1979 working as an aerospace engineer for Rockwell International and General Research Corporation designing advanced manned space flight systems and satellite orbital transfer vehicles.
