Biography

Dr. Kelvin Ong is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at FocusTech Ventures. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Kegmil. He is a Co-Founder at TNB Ventures. Previously, he served as Board Member at GetKlarity and as an Advisor at Pulsar Venture Capital. He co-founded T.Ware, a haptics technology company that engages in the design, manufacture, and distribution of sensors and haptic-enabled devices, as well as Phenomenology, a boutique industrial design firm that focuses on the new-generation web-enabled hardware in the medical field. He is also an active angel investor, mentor to and serves on the Board of Directors of several internet and gaming startups. Having started his career as a project engineer for the Seksun Group, he went on to drive the company's strategic investment and business development efforts in the US, China, Thailand, and Malaysia that culminated in a $295 million buyout by Citi Venture Capital International. He holds a BA degree from the National University of Singapore and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Nanyang Business School.
