Biography

Mr. Christopher Mulgrew serves as Chief Financial Officer & Director of Finance at Karbon-X. Mr. Mulgrew also served as Chief Financial Officer at Boomitra. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Hawkeye Systems. He served as President & Chief Revenue Officer at Jemsu. He served as President & Chief Strategy Officer at Signet Interactive. He is a seasoned finance professional with an astute understanding of both private equity and public markets. Drawing from previous work as a global controller at Kenda Capital to serving as COO at Canada-based Pacific Western Brewing Company, he began spearheading initiatives that help small and microcap companies go public without the usual red tape and hassles. His experience in the financial sphere has positioned him to lead GRC and deliver maximum value to companies looking to trade in the public space. His previous experience includes serving as global controller at Kenda Capital, the fund manager of the $1.4 billion Shell Technology Ventures Fund, where he led a $200 million capital raise as the firm's senior finance executive in North America. Prior to his work at Kenda, he served as COO at Pacific Western Brewing Company, Canada's largest independent brewer, and has filled the CFO role at several high-growth companies, both publicly traded and private equity-backed firms. He has also worked in Big 4 public accounting at Ernst & Young and KPMG. He also holds both the Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations and has completed the Master's class in the Private Equity program at the London Business School. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Simon Fraser University and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
