Biography

Ms. Simone Theiss serves as Program Manager at EPFL Innovation Park. Ms.Theiss served as Managing Director at Europe Unlimited. She joined the Tech Tour in October 2002. She is responsible for the general management of TT, including financial control, strategy, web, marketing, PR, and planning and implementing all emerging and growth company events per year. She has over 20 years of project & event management, business development, marketing, and market research experience. Prior to working at TT, she worked for the Graduate School at the University of NC in Chapel Hill, USA, implementing the new graduate student program. She also worked at the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) as the global operations and marketing manager both in Alexandria, VA and in London, UK, where she opened and managed their branch office to establish their European presence, as well as oversaw all aspects of international conferences and tradeshows. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, NC, USA.
