Biography

Mr. Giffen Weinmann served as Managing Director at Waverly Capital. He has over 20 years of experience investing in, advising, and financing growing companies in a wide variety of industries. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Weinmann was a Managing Director in the leveraged finance and energy and power corporate finance groups of Banc of America Securities, the investment banking subsidiary of Bank of America. During his 17 years of banking career Mr. Weinmann raised over $20 billion for clients in more than 90 public and private market transactions, had responsibility for a $1.3 billion bank loan portfolio, and had a wide range of advisory assignments. He serves as the Chairman of Jet Yi Holdings, Ltd. and as a Director of Waverly Oil Corporation. Mr. Weinmann earned a B.S. in Management, with honors, from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
