Biography

Mr. John Armenio serves as Managing Director at Bonaccord Capital Partners. He served as Chairman at WeConvene. He is a Co-Founder and served as Chief Investment Officer at Intrepid Ventures. He also serves as Chief Operating Officer at Chiron Investment Management. contributing to the Firm's efforts in international distribution, media and communications, and product development. The last several years JP has led Tantalus Capital's activities as a venture investor, advisor, and co-founder of several early-stage technology company. From 1995 until 2008, JP was with Morgan Stanley in Tokyo, New York and San Francisco and served as Managing Director and Global Head of Structured Products for the Gloanies. Until 2012, JP served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mizuho Securities Asia Limited, the Japanese Mega-Bank's Asian operations hub based in Hong Kbal Wealth Management Division. He served as Americas Head of Structured Products Distribution for the Institutional Securities Division, having responsibility for solutions across equities, rates, commodities and FX asset classes. JP sat on the Promotion and New Products Committees for the Equity Division and was Divisional Head of Wharton Recruiting. He also served on GWM's Alternative Investment Due Diligence Committee. He has led global and regional teams for large investment banks. He is an active investor in technology and other start-ups. He is actively involved in the hedge fund industry and other technology start-ups. Based in Hong Kong.
