Biography

Ms. Joanne Duncan served as President of Membership and Business Operations Division at Biotechnology Innovation Organization. She served as Senior Vice president and Chief Financial Officer for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) from 2005 to 2011. She served in similar business operations and financial roles at both America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and its predecessor organization, the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA). She has more than 20 years of financial, managerial, membership and strategic planning experience in the nonprofit sector, is a CPA and holds a master's degree in taxation from George Mason University. She is also a Certified Association Executive.
