Mr. Chris Oldfield served as Managing Director at Untha Uk. For 15 years UNTHA UK managing director Chris has been at the helm of the country's leading waste shredding provider. A passionate advocate of the 'reduce, reuse, recycle' philosophy, Chris is now widely renowned as a pioneer in the waste and recycling industry. As a result he is a highly sought-after speaker and commentator at national trade events and in industry journals. Whilst Chris holds the largest responsibility for UNTHA UK's day-to-day operations, he remains an active member of the sales team. Why? Because his level of technical expertise is unparalleled, and his favourite part of the role is supporting clients in what he considers is the UK's most exciting marketplace - waste and recycling. Before entering the world of waste shredders, Chris founded and managed two exciting industrial organizations -the world's first commercial manufacturer of water dispersible granules for pesticides, and a contract chemical manufacturing, blending and packaging firm. His understanding of varied processing and technical applications means his advice to clients - and input into UNTHA's shredding innovations - is second-to-none. He assists clients with the sourcing of waste shredders for any application, but his particular areas of specialism are metals, wood and tougher materials such as hazardous waste. Chris's popularity amongst clients is in a large part due to his commitment to knowledge transfer - he readily shares his specialist waste management insight, regardless of whether or not it will lead to a sale.
