Mr. Jonathan Hung is the Founder & serves as Managing Partner at J Heart Ventures. Mr. Hung co-founded & served as Chief Operating Officer at Kitchen Data Systems. He serves as a Managing Partner at Entrepreneur Ventures. He serves as an Advisor at Type One Ventures. He also served as a Partner at Trousdale Ventures. He served as Managing Partner at Grudge Ventures. He is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at J Heart Ventures. He also served as a Partner at Expert DOJO. Besides running JHV, he is the President of United Overseas Textile Corporation. He serves as a Board Member at FlexTal. An international clothing manufacturing and textile business that was started by his father in 1996. UOTC specializes in designing and manufacturing apparel in partnership with retailers such as Amazon, Burlington, and Costco. He holds various degrees from the University of Southern California, the London School of Economics, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. A classic 'heavy hitter' investor, he shares his formidable management skills and financial acumen with KDS on an international stage. He is focusing his laser brain on KDS strategy, operations, and scale. Deeply connected to food tech, he is a Co-Managing Partner of East-West Ventures, He is a Founding Partner of Unicorn Venture Partners. Having held positions at Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Cummins, he has experience running U.S. and China offices and working with retailers such as Amazon. In addition, he is the Managing Member for his family investment office, J Heart Ventures, which invested in startup companies such as Boulevard, ChowNow, Daily Harvest, DocSend, Gyft, LeafLink, Miso Robotics, and Solugen.
