Alex Hochner III General Information

Biography

Mr. Alex Hochner serves as Managing Director, PEP Private Equity at Pickering Energy Partners (United States). He focuses on PEP's suite of private strategies. Mr. Hochner served as Vice President at Haddington Ventures. He joined Haddington in June 2012 to assist with the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, macro-level industry analysis, and ongoing portfolio company initiatives. In this role, he supports all of the portfolio companies with an emphasis on industry, market, and financial analysis. Mr. Hochner serves on the Board of Managers at Fairway Energy Partners. From 2005 through 2010, he worked for Jefferies & Company as an Energy Investment Banker in Houston and London, working primarily on M&A advisory and structured finance assignments in the E&P sector. From 2003 to 2005, he worked for Frontiers International, a sporting travel consultant, as its Yucatan Mexico Program Manager. He earned his MBA from the McCombs School at the University of Texas, where he concentrated on Energy Finance, and interned in Chesapeake Energy's Project Finance group. He also holds a BA in Sociology from Dartmouth College.
