Biography

Dr. Salman Azhar served as Chief Technology Officer at LegioX Capital Group. He serves as a Board Observer at Carpe. He serves as a senior advisor at Arcis Capital Partner. He served as Managing Director at Duke Angel Network. His professional expertise lies in product management, predictive computing, natural language processing, financial systems, automotive, and health information systems. He co-founded DecisionStreet, Swans International, SoftWeb, and over 30 other startups in predictive computing, business intelligence, data analytics, and decision support. His current and former clients include Honda, Toyota, Lamborghini, Audi, Sony, SAP, HP, ADP, i2, Western Digital, Oracle, Agilent, Outcome, and several startups. Previously, he served as Chief Product Officer at iSKY. In 2003, he was awarded Duke University's Honored Alumnus Award for outstanding professional achievements. Before joining iSKY, he co-founded DecisionStreet, Swans International, SoftWeb, and several other companies. His current and former clients include Audi, Honda, Sony, SAP, HP, ADP, i2, Western Digital, Oracle, Agilent, and Outcome. He has also held full-time faculty positions in computer science at Duke University, Rose-Hulman Institute, and Wake Forest University. He earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from Duke, and a BS with Honors in mathematics and physics from Wake Forest with a 4.0 GPA.
