Biography

Mr. John Baclawski serves as Partner & Head of Capital Formation at MPM Capital. Mr. Baclawski serves as Director at Eaton Partners. He focuses on the distribution of the firm's private equity, real estate and real assets offerings. He has over 7 years of experience in investment banking and capital raising. Prior to joining Eaton, John worked as an Associate at Wells Fargo Securities in real estate equity capital markets. He also worked at HFF raising equity and debt financing for commercial real estate clients. Previously, he worked as a Senior Investment Banking Analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald, advising and raising capital for clients in the financial institutions, real estate and renewable energy sectors. John began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst for Bear, Stearns & Company as part of the Strategic Finance Group. John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and was a member of the History Honors Society (Phi Alpha Theta). John is an Eagle Scout and spent a winter as a professional ski instructor in Beaver Creek, CO. John holds the Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses with FINRA.
