Biography

Mr. Joshua Steele serves as Member at Harris Beach. He practices in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group and serves on the Educational Institutions and the Municipalities and Local Agencies Industry Teams. Mr. Steele counsels and represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including litigation under Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, the New York Labor and Human Rights Law, and the First and Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Mr. Steele also represents employers in administrative proceedings before the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board. He also advises public and private employers on Affordable Care Act compliance.
