Biography

Ms. Stephanie Neuhaus-Descuves served as a Legal Director at Eversheds International. She specialises in insurance and labour law as adviser and litigator. Besides that she is single judge at Swiss Triathlon. Her career as attorney started with KPGM in Gümligen (Berne). She then worked for one of the largest Swiss insurance companies where she specialised in insurance law. Working for XpertCenter Ltd., she led a team specialised in damages and compensation issues for various clients within the insurance sector. She studied law at the Universities of Fribourg, Tübingen (Eberhard-Karls Universität, Germany) and Barcelona (ESADE Ramon Lull University, Spain) (lic.iur 1999/admitted to the Bar 2003). She holds a certificate of Advanced Studies IRP-HSG in Insurance and Liability Law at the Institute for Legal Studies and Legal Practice of the University of St. Gallen (CAS 2009). She is a member of the Swiss Bar Association, the Berne Bar Association and the Swiss society for Insurance and Liability Law.
