Biography

Mr. Lee O'Connell served as a Head of Legal and Compliance Consulting at Eversheds International. He is Consulting Director and Head of Legal and Compliance Consulting in our Eversheds Consulting group working regularly on projects with FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 companies. He specialises in Legal Strategy, Strategic Risk, Business change and transformation, Global Regulatory, Ethics and Compliance Strategy design and operational implementation, and identification of control environments and internal controls. Clients include DuPont (America), Tyco, CPP Group, Lloyds Banking Group, GE, Dollar, The Walt Disney Company, Yazaki (Japan) and Guardian (North America). His recent Global experiences include working and speaking in USA, London, India, Denmark, Amsterdam and Sweden on Global Risk and Compliance and in the UK he has presented to The CML and The Institute of Credit Management on Risk Management and Corporate failures. He lead the team on a compliance strategy project, winning The Compliance Register Platinum Awards 2013, Special Commendation for Excellence in Innovative Consultancy Services. He gained a MSc Distinction in Audit Management & Consultancy, and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
