Michael Capasso General Information

Biography

Mr. Michael Capasso served as Managing Director and Head Trader at Fiera Capital. He joined Clearwater in 2008 and is a member of the Firm's Investment and Management Committees. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for deal sourcing, price negotiation, trading and execution. During his tenure at Clearwater he has increased the Firm's network by three-fold and today sources transactions from more than 40 different counterparties across U.S. Europe and Asia. He also maintains brokerage relationships for the Firm. Prior to joining Clearwater, he worked at Bear Stearns for 17 years as Head Asian debt trader in both New York and Hong Kong. While based in Hong Kong he started Bear Stearns' Asian high yield and distressed business. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Scranton and a master of business administration degree from Fordham University.
