Evan Tornell General Information
Biography
Mr. Evan Tornell served as Managing Director at Castlelake. He is part of Castlelake's business development team, and also works on the investment team focusing on credit. He joined Castlelake in 2010 and was initially focused on aviation investment opportunities. Following his time on the aviation investment team, and prior to his move to business development, he worked on Castlelake's capital formation team where he focused on the Firm's global fundraising activities. Prior to joining Castlelake, he was an investment associate at Piper Jaffray, primarily responsible for forecasting financial performance of covered companies, developing investment ratings and advising institutional portfolio managers on equity investments. He received a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in Financial Management, magna cum laude. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
