Biography
Dr. Yosef Akhtman co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Data Scientist and Board Member at Gamaya. He oversees the strategic development of Gamaya and its technology. He holds a Ph.D. in information theory and mobile communications from the University of Southampton, UK and a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He has more than ten years of experience in the management of international research projects. His technological contributions have been acknowledged by multiple prestigious awards and he has authored one manuscript and more than forty scientific papers spanning the subjects of information theory, mobile robotics and remote sensing of the environment.
