Biography

Ms. Erika Kikuchi served as Senior Associate & Attorney at King & Spalding. She is a senior associate in King & Spalding's Silicon Valley Corporate Practice Group. She works with companies in all stages of development in various industries, such as healthcare, life sciences, biotech, software, solar, semiconductor and others. Ms. Kikuchi has experience in a variety of corporate finance and securities law matters, and has represented issuers and investors in numerous venture capital and seed financings, strategic investments, restructurings, debt financings, board and corporate governance matters, buy and sell-side mergers and acquisitions and IPOs. Ms. Kikuchi's priority is establishing strong relationships with her clients by providing legal counsel tailored to each client's specific needs, whether the client is a two-man start-up or a large company working on a complex deal. She believes communication is the key to an excellent attorney-client relationship and this includes being responsive to clients and maintaining an open dialogue. Above all, she truly enjoys the practice of law, getting to know clients and working together to achieve success. She earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, with honors in the Intellectual Property and International Law concentrations. She received a Master of Arts in International Relations from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts (With Distinction) from the University of Michigan. Ms. Kikuchi is admitted to practice in California.
