Biography

Mr. Suchit Kaura is a Co-Founder of Aquila Clouds. He founded Aquila Clouds in pursuit of his passion for IT automation. Suchit has been part of executive and leadership teams for companies like Isilon, BlueArc and Oracle. He had been at startups and larger corporations, driving innovation, creating dramatic business values and revenue growth of over a billion dollars multiple times by creating market-leading products like Oracle RAC, Isilon OneFS & Veritas SDS stack. He served as Vice President, Engineering at Coho Data. Suchit Kaura is a distributed systems veteran with 25 years of experience in the industry. Prior to Coho Data he was running engineering teams in Santa Clara and India for Isilon. Before that he worked for BlueArc, Oracle, Tandem and Veritas where he was part of the leadership team that delivered products like OneFS(Isilon), HNAS (BlueArc) Oracle RAC, OCFS & Veritas Volume Manager. He has been a contributor to industry standards like parallel NFS part of NFSv4.1 RFC and NGIO forum precursor to Infiniband. Suchit has a bachelor's degree in Engineering from IIT Roorkee.
