Biography
Mr. John Bryant serves as Executive Vice President & Senior Managing Director, of Absolute Return Strategies at Harbert Management. Mr. Bryant earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Before that, Mr. Bryant worked at BlackRock, a multinational investment management corporation, where he was a Vice President. At BlackRock, Mr. Bryant focused on developing, seeding, and launching new proprietary investment funds, including mutual funds, hedge funds, fund-of-funds, specialized alternative investments, closed-end funds, and opportunistic investment products. Mr. Bryant has a BA in Economics, cum laude, from The University of the South.
