Biography

Mr. Bert Lopez serves as Principal at McCombie Group. He served as Chief Financial Officer at U.S. Century Bank. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Vertical Bridge. He has a diverse background in capital markets and structured finance, corporate governance, IPOs, Private Equity, M&A, SEC matters, and business integration. Immediately prior to joining Vertical Bridge, he was Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Intcomex, a private equity funded technology products distributor and supply chain company. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Trade Street Residential Inc., a publically traded multi-family Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Prior to these roles, he spent over 20 years in the banking industry as Chief Financial Officer and Regional Controller with publically traded BankUnited and Barnett Banks. He was also a Managing Director in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Risk Management Services advisory group and began his career in public accounting with KPMG and Ernst & Young. He is a CPA and earned his Bachelor in Accounting and his MBA from the University of Miami. He is a former member of the Finance and Administration Committee of Board of Directors of United Way of Miami-Dade and was appointed to the University of Miami's President's Council.
