Biography

Ms. Liu Dongya serves as Partner at King & Wood Mallesons. She served as Counsel at SJ Berwin. Ms. Liu Dongya specializes in capital market, private equity (PE), and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Ms. Liu devotes herself to providing clients with a full range of legal services in the field of capital market, including reorganization, restructuring, and domestic and oversea listing (A-shares/H-shares/red chips) of enterprises, listing on the new third board, bonds issuance, refinancing of listing companies, material asset restructuring, corporate spin-offs and listing, takeover business, daily legal services, and return of red chips; besides, Ms. Liu also has rich practical experience in the areas of private equity funds, domestic and oversea investment by insurance funds, and establishment of financial institutions, etc. Ms. Liu has participated in nearly 100 projects and represented clients from a wide range of industries, including banking, insurance, securities, fund, trust, financial leasing, payment, media, pharmaceutical, food, garment, catering, construction, manufacture and real estate; Ms. Liu also acts as daily legal counsel of several listed and non-listed companies, and is in charge of providing all kinds of legal advices with respect to companies' daily operations.
