Biography

Mr. David Andrews served as Associate at McMillan. He is an associate in the Capital Markets and M&A Group in the firm's Toronto office. His practice focuses primarily on corporate finance and merger and acquisition transactional matters, as well as assisting public companies with continuous disclosure and corporate governance issues. David has represented clients on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange, and the Canadian Securities Exchange. His practice also involves advising investment fund managers, underwriters and other capital markets participants. While in law school, David served on student government, competed for UBC at the national Corporate/Securities Moot, and studied at the University of Glasgow on exchange. David summered with McMillan in 2011. Following his graduation from UBC Law, he clerked at the BC Court of Appeal for the Hon. Madam Justice Ryan and the Hon. He Low before returning to McMillan's Vancouver office to complete his articles. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2013 and the Ontario bar in 2015. He also acts as pro bono counsel for the non-profit community organization YouthCO HIV & Hep C Society.
