Biography

Mr. Christopher Visioli serves as Chief Financial Officer at Metsera. Mr. Visioli served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at The Medicines Company. He serves as a Partner at Population Health Partners. Previously he served as Vice President of Business Development at The Medicines Company. Before joining Population Health Partners, he was the Chief Financial Officer at The Medicines Company, where he was responsible for leading financial strategy and information technology and served on the executive leadership team. During his time as CFO, he raised over $300 million in outside capital and co-managed the global business development process which resulted in the sale of the company to Novartis for $9.7 billion in January of 2020. During his tenure at The Medicines Company, he held leadership roles in business development, strategic planning, product launch preparation, analytics, and finance. Before his time at The Medicines Company, he was a Management Consultant at Ernst & Young where he focused on customized system development and assisting start-up technology businesses to design, develop, and scale back office and technology capabilities. He has a MBA with Honors, from Columbia Business School and a BS in electrical engineering, cum laude, from Cornell University.
