Biography

Ms. Anna Tombs served as an Associate - Litigation and Dispute Resolution at McMillan. She is an associate in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. She has a broad corporate and commercial litigation practice, including in areas such as securities litigation, construction litigation and product liability litigation. She joined McMillan as a summer student, and articled with the firm before her call to the Ontario bar in 2014. She received her BA from Queen's University and her JD from University of Western Ontario. While at law school, Anna was actively involved in the school's advocacy competitions. She placed first in Western's Labour Law moot and first in Western's Bankruptcy and Insolvency moot. In 2012, Anna competed in both the national and international rounds of the Jessup International Law moot. She was awarded the prize of Best Oral Advocate in the final rounds of the Canadian national competition and her team placed second overall. She has strong oral and written French language skills. In 2012, she studied international trade and dispute law at the Universite Jean Moulin in Lyon, France.
