Stephen Turman JD General Information

Biography

Mr. Stephen Turman served as Counsel at Moritt Hock & Hamroff. He is an experienced litigator that has devoted his practice to representing clients in complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy, creditors' rights matters and trusts and estates litigation. Mr. Turman has extensive trial and appellate experience, having worked on a number of high profile cases pending before state and federal courts throughout the country. He has also represented clients in FINRA arbitrations and in other alternative dispute resolution forums. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Turman was associated with the New York office of Brown Raysman Felder & Steiner and prior to that, the New Jersey office of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Turman is active in the Long Island community and served on the Nassau County Board of Ethics from May 2007 through May 2013.
