Biography

Mr. Jian Shao co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Precidiag. Mr. Shao served as Venture Partner at Azimuth Ventures. He focuses on sourcing and evaluating new opportunities as well as assessing the potential for global markets expansion for existing portfolio companies. Jian started his career as a medicinal chemist at Novartis and soon took leadership positions in Drug Discovery programs managing both internal and external resources. In the summer of 2014, while pursuing an MBA degree at Yale School of Management, Jian completed a summer internship at Biogen (NYSE: BIIB) Corporate Strategy department. Shortly after that, on October 2014 he co-founded Anthos Pharmaceuticals developing breakthrough therapeutics to treat neurodegenerative diseases. Jian is an Executive Committee member of Chinese-American Bio-Medical Association (CABA) and an author of four scientific peer-reviewed papers. Jian received his BS degree in Chemistry from Fudan University (China), MA in Chemistry from Boston University, ALM from Harvard University and MBA from Yale School of Management (2015).
