Biography
Dr. Glen Rutledge is a Co-Founder & served as Vice President, Research at 3dB Research. During his doctoral studies, he investigated the use of wavelet packet pattern recognition techniques for environmental sound analysis and discrimination. Through the support of an NSERC Industrial Research Fellowship awarded in 2000, he was able to collaborate with IVL Technologies Ltd. to investigate the application of these same techniques for the analysis of speech signals. While working with the IVL Research Group, he was involved with the development of a wide variety of voice processing technologies, and in 2002, he joined TC-Helicon Vocal Technologies (at the time, a joint venture between IVL and TC Electronic) to refine and implement these algorithms for products targeted at the professional audio market.
