Biography

Mr. Filippo Gaggini serves as Managing Partner at Progressio SGR. He serves as a Board Member at Gampack. He serves as a Board Member & Managing Partner at Polenghi Food. Previously, he served as Vice President at the company. He has 22 years of private equity experience. He began working in private equity as a vice president within the PE division of Banca Commerciale Italiana. After four years he moved to Carlyle Group in Milan as a Director where he helped set up the Italian PE business. He then spent nine years working at Investitori Associati where he was promoted to senior partner in 2008; during this period, he helped set up the Italian business, was involved in fundraising, and led a number of transactions. Before joining Progressio in July 2011 as a Managing Partner, he was a senior partner at Investindustrial and consulted for the UK and Italian private equity funds. He has a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University Milan and is a Chartered Accountant.
