Biography

Mr. Fredric Harman serves as Managing Partner, Information Technology and Internet and Consumer at Oak Investment Partners. He serves as Board Member at Sovrn. He was a Board Member of Keep Holdings and Razorgator and MyLife. He served as Chairperson of the Compensation Committee & Member of Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee at Leaf Group. His primary investment focus is on Consumer Internet and Internet New Media. He is currently on the Boards of Aspect Software, Dot & Bo, Demand Media, Enjoy Technology, FRS, Limelight Networks, Milyoni, NowThis Media, Rebel Mouse, Social Programming, Thrillist Media Group, and U.S. Auto Parts. He has also led investments in and/or served on the Boards of aQuantive (acquired by Microsoft), Allyes (acquired by Focus Media), Bleacher Report (acquired by Time Warner), Campus Pipeline (acquired by SCT), Fastclick (acquired by ValueClick), Captura (acquired by Concur), Cobalt (acquired by ADP), Exodus, Huffington Post (acquired by AOL), ILOG, IMS (acquired by Celestica), Inktomi, Knowledge Networks (acquired by GfK), Pivotal, Primus, Qpass (acquired by Amdocs), Sanmina/SCI and SPSS (acquired by IBM). He serves as Board Member at Brit Media. Prior to Oak, he worked for seven years with Morgan Stanley's Venture Capital Group where he was a General Partner. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked in Business Development at Hughes Communications where he was involved in the formation of the predecessor to DirecTV. He received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University where he was a Hughes Fellow.
