Biography

Mr. Baird Whitehead serves as an Operating Partner at Greenbelt Capital Management. He served as an Energy Advisor at Trilantic North America. He served as a Board Member at DJR Energy. Mr. Whitehead serves as Director and served as Chief Executive Officer (since May 2011) and President (since February 2011) of Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE: PVA). In addition, since January 2001, Mr. Whitehead has also served as President of Penn Virginia Oil & Gas Corporation, a subsidiary of Penn Virginia Corporation. Mr. Whitehead also served as the Chief Operating Officer from February 2009 to May 2011 and as the Executive Vice President from January 2001 to February 2011 of Penn Virginia Corporation. Before joining Penn Virginia, Mr. Whitehead served in various positions with Cabot Oil and Gas. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Whitehead served as Senior Vice President during which time he oversaw Cabot's drilling, production, and exploration activity in the Appalachian, Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continent, and Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast areas. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Whitehead served as Vice President and Regional Manager of Cabot's Appalachian business. From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Whitehead served as Vice President and Regional Manager of Cabot's Anadarko business unit. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Whitehead served as Cabot's Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Whitehead has served in senior management positions with oil and gas exploration and production companies for over 20 years. Mr. Whitehead holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
