Biography

Mr. Fred Anderson is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at NextEquity Partners. He was a Co-Founder and served as Managing Director at Elevation Partners. Fred has extensive operating and financial experience as a senior executive in the technology industry. From 1996 - 2004, Fred was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Apple Computer. Fred joined Apple from ADP, where he was Chief Financial Officer and served on the company's Executive Committee from 1992 to 1996. Prior to joining ADP, Fred held several executive positions at MAI Systems Corporation from 1978 to 1991 including President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Before starting his career in the private industry, Fred served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and was a CPA and a consulting manager with Coopers & Lybrand from 1972 to 1977. Fred holds a BA from Whittier College and an MBA from UCLA. Fred currently serves on the board of directors of Yelp & a Board Member & Chairman of the Audit Committee at eBay.
