Biography

Mr. Vijay Iyer served as Chief Sales Officer at Hexaware Technologies. He has over 25 years in the industry, including the past 15 years providing professional consulting services to clients around operational improvement, business and IT strategy development, and technology integration. Until recently, Vijay was the CEO of CIGNEX, the largest pure play open source consulting company. Vijay spent over 14 years at HCL Technologies and played a key role in the creation of a few industry verticals, as well as Enterprise Application Services & Enterprise Transformation Services lines of business with HCL. He has also been responsible for delivering large, strategic integrated multi-service engagements. Prior to his work with HCL, Vijay was the CIO for a large manufacturing & distribution organization providing business and IT strategy. He was also instrumental in re-engineering the business processes of the organization and improve productivity. Vijay has a MS from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani with specialization in automation & control. In addition, Vijay has an executive education from Harvard Business School in Delivering Information Systems.
