Biography

Mr. Aner Ben-Ami is the Founding Partner and serves as Chief Investment Officer at Candide Group. He also serves as a Board Member at Solar Holler and Firebrand Artisan Breads. Prior to Pi Investments, he was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked with clients in the energy, water, and transportation sectors. Previously, he advised leading cleantech players in Israel and also served as an Intelligence Officer in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces). Primary areas of interest include natural resource conservation, local community building, sustainable food/agriculture, and international development. He has also been particularly active in identifying and promoting alternative exit structures. He holds an MBA with honors from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics and History (magna cum laude) from Tel Aviv University. He is on the investment committee of The Working World and is a board observer for Big City Farms. He is passionate about redefining the role of business and finance and believes investment capital can catalyze a transition to a more just and sustainable economic system.
