Biography
Mr. Wes Eklund served as President & Chief Executive Officer at Fleet Engineers. Mr. Wes Eklund is the second-generation owner of Fleet Engineers and has served as President and CEO since 1990. He is a former chair of the Employers Association of West Michigan, the Muskegon Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Muskegon Area First economic development corporation. He has served as co-chair and chair of the MACC Government Affairs Committee, as well as co-chair of the West Michigan Chamber Coalition board. Wes Eklund was listed as one of the "ten most influential business leaders" by the Muskegon Chronicle in March 2006. He holds a BBA in Business Administration and Management with minors in Economics and Finance from Grand Valley State University. He is also a graduate of the Institute for Healing Racism.
