Biography

Mr. Walter Jin serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and Co-President at Pager. He also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Onlife Health. He is a Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at Three Fields Capital, which provides growth equity and venture capital to healthcare businesses. In addition, he is the Co-Founder & Chief Investment Officer at Pacific Healthcare Management, the management company for The Innovation Institute, which provides business process outsourcing services to health systems. Walter has 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry from both an investment and operating role with attribution to over $6 billion in value creation and more than 33 portfolio companies with only one loss. He serves as Board Member at nirvanaHealth. Previously, Jin was the Co-Founder & Co-Head of Healthcare at The Carlyle Group, which grew from $300 million to over $80 billion in assets under management during his tenure. Jin was also a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director in Healthcare at the hedge fund SAC Capital and started his career with Salomon Brothers as an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Jin is a graduate of Harvard University with a magna cum laude degree in Economics. He currently serves as an advisor, executive in residence, and board member to Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Medicine and The Armstrong Institute. Walter also serves as an Innovation Fellows Technical Advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
