Biography
Mr. Alexander McIsaac is the Founder and serves as General Partner at Northside Venture. Mr. McIsaac served as a Partner at Global Founders Capital. He served as Principal at BDC Capital. As a Principal with the Strategic Investments and Women in Tech Fund at BDC Venture Capital, he is responsible for assisting in the management of the existing portfolio and sourcing and leading new investments. Before joining BDC, he worked as Director of Business Development at NRStor Inc. where he was a founding employee. There he supported business growth and helped raise an $11 million Series A and a $120 million financing facility that closed in November 2017. Before that, he worked as an Associate at Northwater Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree from Queen's University and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) from the University of Western Ontario. He is Co-Chair of CAMH Engage - a committee of young professionals focused on raising mental health awareness and funds for CAMH.
