Biography

Mr. Fernando Rivera served as Chief Technology Officer at ETF.com. He also serves as a Managing Partner at BuenTrip Ventures. Fernando has 20 years of experience designing and implementing Web-based applications and content-driven websites. He was previously founder and CEO of StarNetSys.com, a successful Web design and development firm based in Quito, Ecuador, which provided services to clients in the U.S. and Europe, including ETF.com and Dow Jones Indexes. ETF.com acquired StarNetSys in 2008. Fernando works from the company's offices in Quito, where he oversees a team of 15 developers, designers and tech support personnel. He is a graduate of Pomona College.
