Biography

Ms. Veera Somersalmi Co-Founded and served as Partner at Reach Capital (France). She has 15 years of experience in the Private Equity industry. Most recently she worked, as a Partner, with William and Luc at Global Private Equity, a Paris-based placement advisor where she was responsible for fundraising assignments for international Private Equity and Infrastructure managers. Prior to this, she was Associate Director at Nordic Mezzanine and Investment Director at Standard Life Investments Private Equity. Previously, she was Investment Manager at Capman and before that Portfolio Manager of Private Equity at Keva. Ms. Somersalmi holds an MBA from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business, and a MSc from Aalto University in Helsinki. She is also a CFA charterholder.
