Biography

Mr. Pierre-Antoine de Selancy is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at 17Capital. He has more than two decades of private equity experience, including 15 years in the secondary market. Before founding 17Capital, he was the Partner responsible for all secondary transactions as well as leading or co-leading primary fund investments and co-investments at Idinvest (formerly AGF Private Equity, part of Allianz). During his time there he launched and ran the secondary investment practice. Before Idinvest Partners, he worked at Fondinvest Capital in Paris and at Coller Capital in London where he led several secondary private equity transactions. He started his private equity career at Paribas Affaires Industrielles (now PAI Partners) in Paris and Hong Kong. He has a business school degree from ESLSCA, Paris, and a Master's degree in financial engineering from the EM Lyon Graduate School of Management.
