Biography

Mr. Jean Plamondon serves as a Partner - Private Funds Group & Member of the Investment Committee at Eurazeo. Mr. Plamondon served as a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee at Idinvest Partners. He also leads primary fund investments and secondary market deals. He serves on the advisory boards of a number of European private equity funds. Before joining Idinvest Partners in 2006, he was Investment Director at Parquest, a mid-market LBO investor, since 2002. Before that, he was LBO Investment VP at Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec in Paris. In 1991, at HSBC/Montagu, he helped raise and invest a small-cap MBO fund invested in France. He began his career in private equity in 1985 at Citicorp Venture Capital France after working as a project engineer at CGI, an IT services company later acquired by IBM. He holds an electrical engineering degree from McGill University and a McGill MBA (joint program with the HEC MBA in Paris).
