Zheng Wei Ph.D General Information
Biography
Dr. Zheng Wei served as Partner at Northern Light Venture Capital. He joined NLVC in 2015 with 15 years management experience in telecom, Internet and mobile Internet industry. Starting from 2007, he served in Baidu, as GM of innovation and development and GM of Business Cooperation, focusing on wireless search, game, security platform, and internet payment. In 2013, he was promoted to VP of Mobile Cloud of Baidu, and led wireless traffic strategic layout and marketing battles successfully. Prior to Baidu, He worked as VP for R&D center of China Mobile Hong Kong and oversaw technology innovation as well as products pre research, including multimedia wireless transmission technology patents and projects development. He holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics of Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. degree in Information Management of Peking University. He was also an EMBA of the State University of Texas business school at Arlington.
