Biography

Mr. Péter Tánczos serves as Partner & Chairman of the Board at Euroventures. He graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences with an MSc in Finance and Management and later earned a postgraduate degree in Economic Law at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. He studied at INSEAD in France and received his MBA in 1999. He started his career as an investment analyst in 1993, two years later as a partner of the Euroventures private equity firm, running four consecutive successful venture capital and private equity programs in Hungary and its neighboring countries since. Currently, he is the Chairman of the board of Euroventures Venture Capital Fund Management Zrt and the manager of Euroventures IV. He served on the executive and supervisory boards of several companies of the Euroventures portfolio, supporting some of them in the capacity of an interim CEO as well. He currently heads the Communication Committee of the Hungarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. He served as a Board Member of Tresorit.
